Klook Signs MOU with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' AI Convergence College

Klook announced on the 21st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' AI Convergence College and will pursue industry-academic cooperation to develop AI translation technology.

This agreement combines Klook's experience operating a global OTA platform with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' language and AI research capabilities to improve AI-based translation quality and provide practical experience to students. The two institutions will maintain their partnership until the end of next year, conducting joint research on refining AI translation prompts, improving translation quality, and conducting joint research on AI localization and language technology.

Through this collaboration, Klook plans to operate a variety of programs, including internships, workshops, and project-based learning (PBL), enabling students to gain hands-on experience with AI technologies and strengthen their capabilities in real-world global industrial environments. Klook has been collaborating with various domestic organizations to support both industrial development and corporate growth. Through this agreement, Klook aims to provide AI talent with first-hand experience in the industry, contributing to the qualitative growth of the domestic AI ecosystem.

Furthermore, as a global OTA company, Klook is focusing on improving customer experiences through the adoption and advancement of AI technology. This industry-academia collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on strengthening its digital competitiveness.
