Bluewing Motors Signs MOU with Ulsan Carbon Neutrality Support Center

Bluewing Motors Co., Ltd. (CEO Min-ho Kim) announced on the 21st that it signed a business agreement with the Ulsan Metropolitan City Carbon Neutrality Support Center (Director Seung-min Yoo) for ‘mutual cooperation for carbon neutrality in the Ulsan region.’

This agreement aims to achieve carbon neutrality in the Ulsan region and address related issues by jointly identifying carbon reduction projects, engaging in each other's projects, and establishing a cooperative system. It also includes cooperative measures for expanding into overseas markets, including Vietnam.

Bluewing Motors is an eco-friendly mobility startup focused on developing and distributing electrification kits that convert existing gasoline-powered two-wheelers into electric vehicles. They are currently working on a "Feasibility Study of Two-Wheeled Vehicle Electrification Tuning" project for the Ministry of Environment and are collaborating with Evetech, a company with battery cooling system technology, to develop electrification technology and verify safety.

The company is developing a "K-Conversion Kit" equipped with OBD equipment to build a two-wheeled vehicle management and control system, and is also pursuing a big data-based carbon emissions trading business. Through these efforts, the company is evolving beyond simple electrification into a data-driven, comprehensive carbon reduction solution.

Interest in Bluewing Motors' technology is high in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as policies to electrify two-wheeled vehicles are accelerating to address air pollution. Bluewing Motors has been conducting demonstration projects with TDMU University in Vietnam since 2021 and has signed numerous MOUs and supply agreements with local partners.

Kim Min-ho, CEO of Bluewing Motors, said, “In line with Ulsan City’s carbon neutrality declaration and low-carbon transportation policy, this agreement will contribute to the expansion of local electrification projects and entry into the Southeast Asian market.”

Yoo Seung-min, head of the Ulsan Metropolitan City Carbon Neutrality Support Center, said, “Bluewing Motors’ electrification technology can be a practical solution for reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector, and will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Ulsan companies by supporting local carbon neutrality and global expansion.”
