Grip Company Wins the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award and the Digital Commerce Innovation Award at the GIE 2025 Awards

Grip Company (CEO Kim Hanna and Kim Taesu) , which operates the commerce creator platform 'Grip', announced on the 25th that it won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award and the Digital Commerce Innovation Award at the 'GIE 2025 Awards'.

The GIE 2025 Awards, a core program of the 2025 Global Influencer Expo, recognizes companies and creators who have contributed to the development of the industry ecosystem throughout the year. Grip Company won two major awards at this year's awards.

Grip received high praise for advancing its live-streaming commerce platform and introducing a new distribution model to the manufacturing and distribution industries. The award also recognized its achievements in establishing a public-private commerce ecosystem involving businesses, the government, and local organizations, thereby laying the foundation for a digital transformation across industries. Furthermore, the expansion of live commerce, which has created demand for new jobs such as producers, show hosts, and content creators, was also a key factor in the evaluation.

Additionally, creators Park Min-jeong (Mapyeonni) and Hwang In-seon (singer Hwang In-seon), both active on Grip, received the Power Impact Leader Award. This demonstrates that the platform's creator ecosystem has achieved significant industrial results, signifying that creators' content capabilities and influence are recognized as key drivers of growth in the digital distribution industry.

Kim Hanna, CEO of Grip Company, said, “This award is recognition of our ongoing efforts to build a structure that connects technology, content, and the ecosystem,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our role as a platform that promotes creator growth and industrial innovation.”
