
Chungnam Content Promotion Agency (Director Kim Gok-mi) announced that it held the '2025 Scale-Up Acceleration' Demo Day finals at the Chungnam Content Enterprise Support Center in Asan City on the 21st and selected three excellent companies.
This Demo Day, hosted by the Korea Institute for SMEs and Startups (KITS) and operated by accelerator CNT Tech (CEO Jeon Hwa-seong), supported the investment attraction capabilities and business advancement of local content companies. A total of 12 companies participated in the program, which achieved results such as three TIPS recommendations from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KRW 300 million in direct investment, and the attraction of three overseas companies.
The eight companies that passed the preliminary round on November 5th advanced to the final round after going through IR consulting and business pivoting processes. The evaluation committee, comprised of five experts in the content and investment fields, evaluated the companies based on five criteria: ▲feasibility ▲marketability/growth potential ▲competitiveness/differentiation ▲team capabilities ▲investment attractiveness.
As a result of the evaluation, three companies were selected as excellent companies: ▲Grand Prize Hash Purple Co., Ltd., ▲Best Award Company A Co., Ltd., and ▲Excellence Award A New Production Co., Ltd. Hash Purple Co., Ltd., the grand prize winner, was recognized for its marketability and growth potential based on its global fan base, sales growth potential, and clear profit model. The selected companies will receive a total of 10 million won in prize money, TIPS recommendations, and follow-up investment opportunities.
On this day, CEO Jeon Hwa-seong of CNT Tech gave a special lecture on the topic of “Startup strategies for all startups” and presented the direction of corporate growth.
Kim Gok-mi, director of the Promotion Agency, said, “The Scale-Up Acceleration Program has contributed to the establishment of commercialization strategies for local content companies and the achievement of investment attraction results,” and added, “We will continue to actively support the growth of local companies through highly effective support.”
“We will continue to support content companies in the South Chungcheong region to develop their strengths and secure practical scale-up opportunities,” said Jeon Hwa-seong, CEO of CNT Tech. “Based on the growth potential confirmed at Demo Day, we will review investments and follow-up partnerships.”
