Gyeongbuk Center Hosts 'G-Star Dreamers' Final Demo Day

Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center 's accelerating program 'G-Star Dreamers' held its final demo day at the Genesis Lab of Handong University in Pohang on the 20th, marking the last event of the year's program.

This Demo Day was designed to expand investment opportunities and enhance external exposure for selected companies, and consisted of IR pitching, business consultations, and networking programs, all held in one venue.

In the IR pitching session, a total of 12 companies shared their technology and product directions through a seven-minute presentation followed by an eight-minute Q&A session. AC and VC investors, including IM Investment Partners, Ecopro Partners, and POSCO Technology Investment, participated and comprehensively reviewed the companies' growth potential and investment suitability.

The business consultation meeting matched companies with experts based on their industry and investment stage. In-depth consultations were held, including reviewing commercialization strategies, exploring follow-up opportunities, and concretizing investment strategies. The networking program that followed fostered open communication, exploring collaboration opportunities between companies and exchanging technology and market information.

This Demo Day naturally led to follow-up discussions between investors and participating companies, increasing the potential for expansion within the local startup ecosystem.

'G-Star Dreamers' has been providing step-by-step support for innovative startups in the Gyeongbuk region, including reviewing commercialization strategies, verifying markets and technologies, and preparing for investment attraction, to establish a foundation for growth.

“This demo day served as an opportunity for local startups to concretize their growth direction and explore new opportunities,” said Yoo Joo-hyun, CEO of the Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center. “We will actively support Gyeongbuk’s innovative startups to become more competitive.”
