The Korea Fintech Association (KFA) will host a "Fintech Connecting Day" at Korea Fintech Week 2025.

The Korea Fintech Industry Association (Chairman Lee Geun-joo, CEO of Hanpass) announced on the 26th that it held "Fintech Connecting Day" at the domestic fintech expo "Korea Fintech Week 2025." The event, a networking event attended by approximately 200 participants including fintech companies, financial institutions, investors, and journalists, provided an opportunity for industry professionals to exchange information and discuss business partnerships.

In his opening remarks, Chairman Lee Geun-joo stated, "In a rapidly evolving global financial environment driven by digital technology, the fintech industry is at the forefront of innovation. I hope this networking event will foster active industry exchange and open up new opportunities for collaboration and investment." Financial Supervisory Service Director-General Wi Choong-ki of the Digital Finance Bureau and Democratic Party Representative Lee Kang-il also delivered congratulatory remarks, expressing their hopes and support for the development of the fintech ecosystem.

This year, the association collaborated with the Financial Supervisory Service to run the "Tech Finder Showcase," the "VC Investment Festival," and the "Fintech Connecting Day." This integrated program encompassed technology demonstrations, investment and partnership consultations, and networking, fostering exchange and collaboration across the fintech ecosystem.

In the core session, "Corporate Casual Pitching," 11 companies selected by the association and the Financial Supervisory Service presented their visions and services. Participating companies included Gowid, FractalFN, Korea Legal Data, Ames, Retrust, C&Tech, Gotgan Logistics, Norispace, Watsup, Currency United, and Crosshub. Following the pitching, active collaboration discussions and investment consultations were held among domestic and international attendees.

The association evaluated this event as having laid the foundation for expanding exchanges between fintech companies and discovering global partnerships, and announced plans to continue operating various programs to strengthen the fintech ecosystem. During Korea Fintech Week 2025, the association will operate a separate booth to continue discussions and exchanges with companies on collaborative initiatives.
