Everspin's "Eversafe" Wins the Presidential Award at the 2025 Korea Software Awards

AI security company Everspin announced that its security solution, Eversafe, won the Presidential Award at the 2025 Korea Software Awards at the 26th Software Industry Day Awards Ceremony held on December 1st. This marks the second time Everspin has won the Presidential Award, following its first in 2017.

Everspin recently analyzed that the cause of many large-scale security incidents was not a simple failure of detection, but rather a lack of proactive prevention mechanisms. The company explained that complex and sophisticated modern attacks are evolving into structural attacks that combine elements such as environment, configuration, sessions, traffic, and authentication, rather than a single vulnerability, making it difficult to respond solely with existing detection and response-focused security systems.

Eversafe's core technology, AI-MTD (Moving Target Defense), is a proactive security architecture designed to address these issues. It operates by continuously evolving security modules, reverting attacker analysis attempts back to their initial stages. This approach is considered a proactive approach that prevents attacks from even being launched.

Global research firm Gartner highlighted the importance of preventative security by selecting "proactive cybersecurity" as one of the top 10 strategic technology trends for 2026. Gartner predicts that more than half of future corporate security budgets will be allocated to proactive security.

An Everspin representative stated that real-world projects have repeatedly confirmed the difficulty of successfully executing the same type of attack, and that this Presidential Award represents market validation of EverSafe's technological direction. The company added that it plans to use this award as momentum to strengthen its development of structural security technologies based on preemptive security.
