Cover Summon, which operates the lifestyle tech brand ' Keek ', announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement with the 6th Mobile Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to strengthen employee welfare.
Coversummer, through its brand "Kik," is introducing the "Pillowdy," a combination neck pillow and hoodie. The Pillowdy can be worn as a regular hoodie, but can be inflated to transform into a neck pillow when needed. Since its launch, it has sold over 100,000 units, solidifying its place as the brand's signature item.
This agreement was created to reduce employee fatigue and enhance employee well-being by providing pillowy products, considering the nature of the mobile unit's work, which involves long commutes and frequent on-site standbys. Accordingly, Coversummon offers a 30% discount on all products from its directly-operated stores in Seongsu and Hannam-dong to employees of the 6th Mobile Unit. The company also created a dedicated space within the mobile unit where employees can experience the product's fit and functionality firsthand.
With this agreement, Coversummon plans to expand its scope of cooperation to include all employees of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, including police officers, administrative officers, and chief officers, and to expand its support scope to include all mobile units under the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Superintendent Lee Byeong-cheol, head of the 6th Mobile Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, said that due to the nature of the Mobile Unit's work, it is difficult to get enough rest, and he expects this support to help reduce fatigue and increase job satisfaction among its members.
CoverSermon CEO Lee Jae-ho stated that this partnership is significant as it is the company's first partnership with a public institution, and that the company plans to expand B2G collaboration centered on the public and defense sectors in the future and continuously expand its product lineup suitable for various work environments.
