Social venture Nanum Vitamin Co., Ltd. was selected as an outstanding ESG management company in the 2025 ESG Management Follow-up Support Project hosted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA). The company received the award at the Seoul Startup ESG Forum held on November 27th. The evaluation process focused on ESG implementation capabilities, community contribution, and data-driven operational systems.
Nanum Vitamin operates the "Nabiyam" mobile meal ticket-based platform to create an environment where vulnerable populations facing financial hardship and food insecurity can choose their own meals. The platform has been highly praised for converting donations and welfare budgets into mobile meal tickets and for establishing a system that manages the entire process, from budget issuance to use and settlement, with real-time data. This approach addresses the issues of opacity, administrative burden, and support gaps that plagued existing welfare delivery systems.
This structure aligns with core ESG management values, including strengthening information transparency, promoting local economic circulation, and enhancing stakeholder accountability. To date, Nanum Vitamin has secured a network of approximately 60,000 local stores nationwide and provided over 400,000 mobile meal vouchers to over 30,000 people. This has expanded options for vulnerable groups while ensuring that subsidies are spent in local businesses, contributing to the revitalization of local economies and the establishment of sustainable care systems.
Kim Ha-yeon, CEO of Nanum Vitamin, said, “We have been working to create a structure where children can choose the meals they want regardless of their financial situation,” and added, “We will continue to refine our data-based system so that companies and local stores that practice good deeds can be better identified and connected.”
