KNS INC (CEO Jin Byung-wook), a company specializing in manufacturing military satellite communication antennas, announced on the 8th that it had received the highest rating of "A, A" in a technology evaluation for listing under the KOSDAQ Technology Special Listing System. The company is currently completing all necessary procedures for listing, aiming for an initial public offering (IPO) next year, with IBK Investment & Securities as the lead underwriter.
In this evaluation, KNS INC received high scores for its core technologies such as domestic production technology for military satellite communication antennas for submarines, precision tracking technology (PST) in high-speed maneuvering environments, and high-speed satellite interference suppression technology (HSP), as well as its potential to enter the low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communication market.
Founded in 2001, KNS INC has maintained a leading global market share in maritime satellite communication antennas (VSAT). Recently, the company has also achieved significant success in the defense industry, becoming the first company to domestically produce a submarine satellite communication antenna, a technology hurdle faced by many. The company also secured a supply contract for the Navy's next-generation Maritime Operational Satellite Communication System (MOSCOS-II).
Additionally, we are focusing on securing future growth engines by developing next-generation flat panel antennas (ESA) for low-orbit satellite communications in cooperation with global satellite communications company OneWeb.
Jin Byeong-wook, CEO of KNS INC, said, “Through this technology evaluation, we have been recognized for our accumulated technological prowess and future growth potential,” and added, “We will invest the funds secured through the listing into strengthening our research and development (R&D) capabilities and leap forward as a leading company in the global satellite communication antenna market.”
