Witz Receives the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award for Contribution to Technology Commercialization

Witz , a power transmission solutions company, announced that it has received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 2025 Technology Commercialization Awards. This award recognizes individuals and organizations in the public and private sectors who have contributed to industrial development, enhanced technological competitiveness, and the creation of new industries through the commercialization of research and development (R&D) results.

Witz was recognized for its contributions to expanding global exports and strengthening national industrial competitiveness by advancing and successfully commercializing core technologies ranging from wireless charging solutions for mobile and wearable devices to wireless power transmission technology for electric vehicles (EVs).

According to the company, Witz has focused on developing power transmission module technology since its inception. As a key partner of Samsung Electronics, it has secured a stable revenue base by supplying wireless charging modules for smartphones and wearable devices. Recently, it has successfully diversified its business by expanding into the automotive electronics business.

Witz is also continuing its technological development through industry-academia-research collaborations and national projects. Currently, it supplies wireless charging solutions for vehicles to global automakers, including KG Mobility, and is expanding its supply chain through the development of electric vehicle chargers and related components.

Witz announced that it is investing a significant amount of money in research and development (R&D) every year, contributing to increased exports and the creation of quality jobs by securing technological competitiveness and strengthening commercialization capabilities.
