Unidocs CEO Jeong Gi-tae receives a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT for his contributions to ICT.

Unidocs Co., Ltd. (CEO Ki-Tae Jeong), an artificial intelligence (AI) electronic document specialist company, announced on the 9th that CEO Ki-Tae Jeong received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT at the Digital Innofesta ICT Merit Awards Ceremony held at Dream Plus in Gangnam.

The Information and Communications SME Development Merit Award is presented to individuals among the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies in the ICT sector who have demonstrated exemplary achievements in entrepreneurship, new technology development, job creation, and overseas market development.

Since founding Unidocs in 2000, CEO Jeong Gi-tae has contributed to the creation of a "paperless" environment based on electronic document solutions. The company has built various electronic document systems, primarily for government agencies and private companies. In particular, the company has enhanced work efficiency by implementing the "VisibleTM System," a system utilized in the financial sector, enabling customers and consultants to share screens and process insurance applications in real time.

Unidocs has recently expanded its business scope with AI-based technologies. It is advancing the digital document industry by developing solutions that combine electronic documents and AI, such as AI OCR, natural language processing, and image-based recommendation systems.

The company announced that it plans to continue expanding its business based on advanced electronic document services and AI technology in the future, based on its experience carrying out large-scale electronic document projects such as e-Government 24, electronic certificate issuance and distribution system, and VisibleTM system.
