
Carbon-neutral hydrogen economy company DeCarbon announced that it won an Excellence Award at the 3rd Korea ESG Awards ceremony held at the National Assembly Library auditorium.
DeCarbon is an eco-friendly energy company specializing in HR technology, which produces high-purity hydrogen by gasifying waste plastic at high temperatures. It has continuously pursued research and development and technological advancements with the goal of achieving a circular economy and carbon neutrality. This technological prowess has already been recognized internationally, with selection as one of the Innovation Premier 1000 companies and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award.
At this year's awards ceremony, DeCarbon received high marks for its environmental achievements utilizing eco-friendly energy and resource recycling technologies, its ability to create social value through a sustainable business structure, and its ability to implement a transparent and responsible governance structure across all ESG areas. In particular, the company's simultaneous implementation of ESG, not just as a declaration but as a practical management strategy, was cited as a key factor in its recognition.
