Tripvitoz (CEO Jiha Jeong) announced on the 16th that it shared a K-tourism expansion strategy based on public-private cooperation at the '2025 K-Tourism Cooperation Group Results Report' co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Visit Korea Committee.
The event, held in Seongsu-dong, Seoul on December 4th, was attended by government officials and approximately 150 tourism-related companies, including airlines, lodging, shopping, platforms, and experience companies. The event served as an official forum for sharing the achievements of government-private partnerships in tourism and discussing future directions for cooperation.
In his expert lecture session, CEO Jeong emphasized, "When a government-led collaborative platform combines with the private sector's execution capabilities, the Korean tourism industry can achieve global competitiveness." He went on to explain that a content- and data-driven collaborative model can increase the influx of foreign tourists and revitalize both stay-type and consumption-type tourism.
He also stated that for the tourism industry to connect diverse sectors, including aviation, lodging, platforms, and content, into a single ecosystem, public policy support and the technological and operational capabilities of private platforms must work together. He also emphasized that this structure can establish itself as a sustainable public-private partnership model.
This lecture was evaluated as an opportunity to confirm the potential of the K-tourism cooperation model developed jointly by the government and the private sector. Tripvitoz plans to continue contributing to strengthening global tourism competitiveness and expanding K-tourism by adhering to the policy directions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Visit Korea Committee.
The K-Tourism Cooperation Group is a public-private cooperative network that aims to attract more foreign tourists and revitalize the Korean tourism industry.
