
Global K-beauty community service Piki announced on the 18th that it has secured Series A investment from global venture capital firm Hanriver Partners. The investment amount was not disclosed.
Picky has secured Series A funding, approximately five years after receiving pre-seed investment from Northern Light Venture Capital, Wish Company, Klim Ventures, and multiple angel investors. This investment provides Picky with the funds to expand into global markets and establish strategic partnerships. The company plans to complete its Series A round by March of next year with additional funding.
Piki is a full-stack solution platform specializing in global seeding for K-beauty brands. Building on a global community of approximately 10,000 new creators joining each month, Piki provides an automated system for the entire seeding process, including influencer recruitment, campaign operation, and content review.
Currently, Piki has run over 1,000 cumulative campaigns and generated over 410,000 pieces of content. The cumulative number of app downloads has surpassed 600,000. Furthermore, Piki Connect, Korea's only creator seeding system, leverages real-time data from TikTok and Instagram APIs to support creator matching and streamline campaign operations.
Picky has collaborated with numerous K-beauty brands and has achieved success in the global market. It has also secured examples of campaigns utilizing micro-influencers achieving high viewership and driving growth in overseas e-commerce sales through regular campaigns.
Picky boasts a community structure where creators voluntarily participate, the ability to manage a large pool of creators, and extensive campaign management experience as its strengths. Its global team provides language and cultural support, enabling collaboration with creators in diverse languages, not just English-speaking ones.
With this investment, Piki plans to advance its seeding solutions, expand its global creator community, and strengthen its support for K-beauty brands' overseas expansion.
