AX infrastructure company Acrylic (CEO Park Oe-jin) announced on the 18th that it received the Deputy Prime Minister's Award for Science and ICT at the "2025 Digital Healthcare Merit Awards and Performance Report" hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. This award is an official government award presented to companies and organizations that have contributed to strengthening national competitiveness and industrial development in the fields of science, technology, and information and communications technology.
Acrylic has been recognized for its contributions to the field application and diffusion of AI technology in the digital healthcare field by participating in major government R&D and demonstration projects, including the 'Doctor Answer' medical AI innovation ecosystem creation project and the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 'Korean ARPA-H Project'.
Recently, Acryl has received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, the Top 50 R&D Excellence Awards from SMEs, and the iAwards "AI Platform Innovation Award," demonstrating its AI technology, R&D achievements, and industrial applicability through various evaluation systems. Specifically, the "Top 50 R&D Excellence Awards" recognizes companies that have successfully completed government R&D projects over the past five years, based on their technological achievements and commercialization potential. The "AI Platform Innovation Award" comprehensively evaluates technological innovation and service competitiveness.
This award from the Deputy Prime Minister of Science and ICT demonstrates that Acryl's AX infrastructure technology has proven its competitiveness beyond single project achievements across platforms, R&D, and industrial applications. During the implementation of its medical AI project, "Doctor Answer," Acryl processed massive amounts of medical data, operated sophisticated AI models, and demonstrated the high-performance computing resource management capabilities of its GPU-based AX infrastructure, "GPU Base." Building on this foundation, Acryl plans to fully launch its AX infrastructure in both the public and private markets.
An Acrylic official said, “This award for our contribution to creating a medical AI ecosystem demonstrates that Acrylic AX infrastructure technology is effective even in the strict medical field,” and added, “We plan to expand our AX infrastructure business by prioritizing GPU-based resource efficiency technology and operational stability.”
