Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center Hosts Local Creator Networking Day

Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center announced that it held the '2025 Networking Day with Local Creators' at the Sopa Complex Cultural Space in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City on the 17th.

This event was designed to bring together local creator companies selected in 2025 to share their business operations experience and know-how, and to foster collaboration through inter-company exchanges, thereby expanding the potential for collaborative ideas and business collaborations.

The event consisted of three sessions focused on key challenges faced by local businesses in the field, including product development, marketing strategy, and differentiation, as well as mentoring and networking programs.

In the product development session, Jeju Republic CEO Ryu Ki-hyun shared the process from idea generation to factory production and export, while Mama Pound CEO Lee Han-sol shared his experience and precautions in building and operating a hat factory.

In the marketing strategy session, CEO Jihee Kim of Jammulgyeol explained branding strategies that maintain brand consistency, while CEO Siyeon Ko of Itjijeju explained recent marketing trends focusing on community marketing techniques.

In the differentiation session, CEO Yang Je-hyeon of Gyulmedal presented the case of expanding Jeju citrus-based products, and CEO Shin Yu-seon of Jeju Oreumjeotgal shared the process of developing jeotgal powder and her experience of winning the Global Festa award.

Mentoring was also provided on space business and food and beverage operation strategies. Hwang Jeong-ung, CEO of Sopa, which operates the event venue, provided consulting focused on space planning and operational expertise.

The event venue featured a space for exhibiting products from local creator companies, where participants could freely explore the products and interact with one another.

Lee Byeong-seon, CEO of the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center, said that this event served as an opportunity to strengthen mutual capabilities through experience sharing between companies, and that he would continue to support cooperation among local creators and the creation of a sustainable local business ecosystem.
