Ji Foundation Signs Business Agreement with Incheon Social Welfare Foundation

On the 23rd, the international development cooperation NGO Ji Foundation (CEO Park Chung-kwan) signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Incheon Social Welfare Foundation (CEO Kim Jin-wook) to support vulnerable groups in the local community and eliminate blind spots in welfare.

Representatives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony held at the Incheon Social Welfare Foundation and discussed the background to the agreement and future directions for cooperation.

The two organizations have maintained a cooperative relationship through various welfare projects, and over the past three years, have provided cash and in-kind support to approximately 40,000 vulnerable local populations, including children and adolescents, single parents, and at-risk elderly people.

This agreement aims to establish a stable support system for vulnerable groups in the Busan region and strengthen regional welfare cooperation. Building on existing projects, both organizations plan to expand the scope of support and strengthen ties with social welfare facilities to address blind spots in welfare services.

Kim Jin-wook, CEO of the Incheon Social Welfare Foundation, said, "We will strengthen our partnership with the Ji Foundation and continue our efforts to promote community welfare." Ji Foundation CEO Park Chung-kwan stated, "We will establish a stable support system within the local community and continue to provide practical assistance to vulnerable groups in Busan."

Meanwhile, the Incheon Social Welfare Foundation is a non-profit public interest foundation established for the purpose of promoting community welfare and supporting vulnerable groups, and the Ji Foundation is an international development cooperation NGO with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) that carries out various projects in the fields of children and youth, low-income women, and social economy at home and abroad.
