Jeju Free International City Development Center (Acting Chairman Kwak Jin-gyu, hereinafter referred to as JDC) announced on December 19 that it had received an excellent organization certificate by receiving an excellent grade in the 2025 public data quality certification hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The Public Data Quality Certification System, a comprehensive system that assesses the quality of public institutions' data management systems and data retention, is now in its third year of implementation. JDC received a high rating for its systematic quality management system and its commitment to data disclosure and utilization, earning a Certificate of Excellence.
JDC has consistently strived to improve data quality through the establishment and implementation of a public data management system. This achievement has made it the first public institution in the province to receive an Excellent rating in public data quality certification. This recognition demonstrates its excellence not only in public data management but also in data disclosure and utilization.
Lee Moo-rok, Director of the Smart Convergence Division at JDC, said, “Data quality management and the opening of public data are the core foundations of digital transformation and artificial intelligence transformation,” and added, “We will continue to strive to strengthen the trust of citizens and businesses through innovative services utilizing public data.”
