Pluto (CEO Lee Jeong-su, 300080), an artificial intelligence (AI) data and solution company, announced on the 19th that it had won the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency President's Award at the 2025 'Data Quality Awards' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Industry Promotion Agency (K-DATA).
This award recognizes Pluto's self-developed "Chain of Thought (CoT) dataset," which has been recognized as a leading example of a Korean AI data quality management and operation system. This dataset, a Korean CoT data set encompassing step-by-step analysis and logical reasoning processes across diverse domains, including society, culture, economics, mathematics, science, and technology, achieved a Class A rating in the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) quality certification review.
Pluto's CoT data is noteworthy not only for being simple translation data, but also for being inferred data optimized for Korean language structure and thought processes. By establishing a systematic quality verification process from the data design stage, Pluto has addressed the limitations of existing English-centric CoT data, which failed to adequately reflect Korean logical flow and sentence structure.
Furthermore, based on this achievement, Pluto is participating in the Upstage Consortium for the independent AI Foundation model development project as a data partner responsible for overseeing Korean inference data quality and structure. This demonstrates that Pluto's Korean data quality capabilities are recognized as a strategic asset in the national AI model development process.
