HR tech company Wanted Lab announced on the 18th that it had received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT for developing and introducing an AI-based talent matching service to the public employment platform "Goyong24." The award ceremony took place on the 17th at the inter-ministry collaboration-based AI expansion project performance sharing event.
This award recognizes the achievements of Wanted Lab's inter-ministerial collaboration-based AI expansion project. The award recognizes the use of AI technology to reduce unnecessary time and costs in the matching process between job seekers and employers, while also improving the operational efficiency of public employment services. Wanted Lab previously received the AX Innovation Award at the 2025 NIPA Partners Day in November.
At the performance sharing session, along with the presentation of the Minister's Award, major domestic AI companies shared the status and implementation plans for 24 AI solutions currently under development. The Wanted Lab Consortium plans to introduce and enhance four AI services to "Goyong24" between June 2024 and December 2026.
"Employment 24" is Korea's largest public employment platform, with approximately 10 million job seekers and 500,000 companies registered. Wanted Lab's AI service consists of four components: job posting writing support, AI job posting verification, AI talent recommendation, and data-based hiring success probability prediction. These services enhance the efficiency of both companies and employment centers.
"Job Posting Writing Support" allows companies to input job titles and job requirements, and AI automatically generates job postings. "Job Posting AI Verification" pre-screens suspicious postings, streamlining the re-verification process. "AI Talent Recommendation" matches job postings with suitable candidates and provides recommendations and a summary. "Recruitment Success Probability Prediction" analyzes job posting conditions to predict the likelihood of hiring.
The AI service has completed basic functional development and is scheduled for official introduction in the second half of 2026, following beta testing and usability testing. The Ministry of Employment and Labor has selected these four services as key initiatives for AI-based digital employment services and will support their expansion to the public.
Wanted Lab CEO Lee Bok-gi said, “We are contributing to the innovation of the public employment platform based on AI technology and empirical experience,” and “We will contribute to the competitiveness of employment services and the promotion of national AX through AI transformation encompassing the public and private sectors.”
