The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “Kibo”) announced that it visited Kibo-Star Valley Enterprise Safetyx Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Heon-seop), located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on Thursday the 11th and held an on-site meeting.
This meeting was organized to visit Kibo-Star Valley companies with outstanding technological prowess in the field of robot safety, listen to their challenges, and explore customized support measures reflecting the industry's unique characteristics. The meeting was attended by executives and staff, including the head of Kibo's Seoul Western Regional Headquarters, the head of the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency's Industrial Hub Headquarters, and the CEO of Safetyx Inc. The meeting focused on the companies' growth strategies and future directions for cooperation.
Safetics Co., Ltd., a company specializing in robot safety verification and safety intelligence, received the Minister of Science and ICT Award in 2020. This year, it was selected for the "Overseas Expansion Company Competition," a joint initiative by KIBO and the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, further demonstrating its outstanding capabilities in future new technologies.
Kibo-Star Valley is Kibo's core scale-up support program that provides ▲preliminary guarantee limit (limit by stage from 3 billion won to 10 billion won) ▲preferential guarantee ratio (95%, for 3 years) ▲guarantee fee reduction (0.5%p, for 3 years) to innovative companies with excellent technological prowess and growth potential, according to the founding period and growth stage.
Shin Heon-seop, CEO of Safetyx, said, “Kibo’s selection as a Kibo-Star Valley company and its warranty support have been a great help in investing in the advancement of safety intelligence technology to respond to the expansion of the robot market.”
Kibo Seoul Western Regional Headquarters Director Jeong Gyu-yeol said, “Through this meeting, we have once again confirmed the growth potential of Kibo-Star Valley companies with competitiveness in the robotics service sector,” and added, “Kibo will continue to actively support promising technology companies of the future to scale up.”
