Ipopsoft (CEO Woojun Kim), which operates the AI English learning app Malhaeboka, announced on the 5th that it had won both the '1 Million Dollar Export Tower' and 'Service Tower' awards at the 62nd Trade Day ceremony.
Trade Day is a statutory holiday hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. A ceremony is held annually to reward companies and individuals who have contributed to expanding export performance and developing overseas markets.
This year, for the first time, Epopsoft won the '1 Million Dollar Export Tower' award and also the 'Service Top' award in the education sector, which is given to the company with the highest performance in each sector.
After launching the domestic service "Malhaeboka" in 2019, Epopsoft launched "Epop" in the Japanese market in 2023. The company has focused on operating a global service centered on the user experience, including establishing country-specific payment systems, localizing content based on local languages and cultures, and optimizing UI and UX. As a result, overseas sales increased to approximately 22% as of the first half of 2025.
Kim Woo-jun, CEO of Epopsoft, said, “As we approach the goal of reaching 10 million global downloads, we will strengthen our high-quality content and localization strategy to increase our competitiveness in the global market.”
