
Atium Investment announced on the 3rd that it held the '2025 AI SaaS Day' at the COEX Conference Hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul on the 28th of last month.
This event focused on AI SaaS companies' M&A, follow-up investments, strategic partnerships, and global network expansion, providing a platform for portfolio companies to directly present to major investment firms. Presentations were presented by Channel Talk, Deeping Source, Cupix, and Datarise, all active in the AI-based SaaS sector.
The event was attended by domestic and international private equity funds, including BofA/Merrill, Warburg Pincus, and Praxis Capital, as well as global IBs, VCs, strategic investors, LPs, domestic accounting firm M&A teams, and global big tech executives.
Kim Je-wook, head of service and platform investment at Atium Investment, said in the opening session, “As AI automates business processes, the target market size of SaaS companies is expanding,” and “We would like to introduce investors to new business opportunities for SaaS companies that are becoming more advanced through AI.”
Channel Corporation, an AI-based CS/CRM solution company, introduced its all-in-one business platform, "Channel Talk," and reported that it aims to reach 210,000 cumulative channels and 2,000 AI agent "Alp" customer companies by the end of 2025. Deeping Source shared a case study of a 30-40% increase in sales through the use of spatial analysis and optimization AI, and explained collaborations with major convenience stores in Japan and Korea.
Cupix introduced automation of design and construction error detection and process analysis through an action camera-based 3D digital twin platform, while Datarise announced the performance of its AI marketing SaaS based on customer behavior data and its future plans to enhance digital marketing based on personalized messaging.
As a special speaker, KT's Woo-cheol Byun, head of headquarters, gave a lecture on the domestic introduction of Palantir and its implications.
Vice President Kim Je-wook said, “As domestic AI SaaS companies expand globally and M&A increases, cooperation between companies and investors has become increasingly important,” and added, “I hope that this event will help domestic AI SaaS companies grow on the global stage.”
