
Law & Company announced on the 2nd that it had received the Prime Minister's Award for "Contribution to the Development of the Software Industry by 2025" in recognition of the innovative achievements of its legal AI service, "Super Lawyer." This award follows the company's win at the Global Legal Tech Awards in November, solidifying its position as a leading legal AI technology company.
The Software Industry Development Award is presented by the Ministry of Science and ICT to individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the software industry. It is held in conjunction with the Software Industry Day event. This year's awards ceremony was held on December 1st at the Yangjae L Tower in Seoul, attended by government and National Assembly officials.
Law & Company received a commendation from the Prime Minister for its contribution to the development of "Super Lawyer," a legal AI service utilizing new AI-based software technology. Since establishing the Legal AI Research Institute in 2019, the company has continued its technological research and commercialized Super Lawyer in July 2024.
Law & Company is also contributing to the expansion of the industrial ecosystem by participating in government AI technology development projects. As the lead agency for NIPA's "AI Legal Assistance Service Expansion Project," the company is currently developing technology and has also participated in the upstage consortium for the "Independent AI Foundation Model" project, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
