Jisun, a convergence security solution company, announced on the 27th that its CEO, Dong -jin Han, received the Minister of SMEs and Startups' Award in the exemplary small and medium-sized enterprise category of the 2025 Public Procurement Meritorious Service Award at the '2025 Public Procurement Promotion Competition' held at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
This awards ceremony, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, aims to recognize exemplary SMEs who have contributed to market development and revitalization in the public procurement market, thereby revitalizing the market and boosting the morale of SMEs. The Exemplary SME category recognizes entrepreneurs who have supplied excellent products to the public procurement market through technological development, process innovation, and quality control, contributing to job creation. Recipients are selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of corporate soundness, product originality and competitiveness, and contribution to social development.
Representative Han was recognized for his contributions to preventing illegal filming in public restrooms and enhancing public safety through the "Alpha-C" continuous illegal filming detection system. Alpha-C is a 24-hour detection system based on heat source analysis that detects illegal filming devices and behind-the-screen filming in real time in public facilities such as public restrooms, tourist attractions, and cultural facilities.
This system automates public institutions' inspection and response processes, reducing budget and personnel requirements by transforming the existing one-time inspection method, which relied on detection personnel, into a continuous monitoring system. It can detect not only installed cameras but also intrusive filming through partition walls, enabling real-time response to various types of illegal filming crimes. The evaluation reflected its contribution to reducing the likelihood of crime, social costs, and user anxiety, as well as promoting the use of cultural and tourism public facilities and enhancing customer satisfaction.
CEO Han Dong-jin said, “The public procurement market is an important stage for technologically advanced small and medium-sized enterprises to open up new markets, and Jisun has been recognized as a partner that has been thinking about expanding the national safety and security space together with public institutions.” He added, “We will continue to innovate in security and create social value by advancing various solutions such as Alpha-C and wireless wiretapping and backdoor hacking detection, and expanding into the public, private, and global markets.”
