JamJam Therapeutics won the Good Game Award at the 2025 Korea Game Awards held at BEXCO 2nd Exhibition Hall in Busan at 4:00 PM on November 12, 2025.
The event was hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Association of Game Industry, with support from the Electronic Times and Sports Chosun. The awards ceremony was held in conjunction with G-Star 2025, combining an industry exhibition with an awards ceremony.
The award-winning game, "JamJam400: Pinkfong and JamJam Friends," is a functional game developed to improve the skills of children with developmental disabilities. CEO Kim Jeong-eun emphasized the significance of the award, saying, "We created the game with the heart of a parent raising a child with disabilities."
The Grand Prize (Presidential Award) went to Mabinogi Mobile, which also won three awards, including the Technical Creation Award for Planning, Scenario, and Sound. The Grand Prize went to Neople's First Berserker: Kazan, while Excellence Awards went to Seven Knights Reverse, P's Lie: Prelude, and RF Online Next.
G-STAR 2025 was the largest ever, with 1,273 companies from 44 countries participating in 3,269 booths. The combination of an industry exhibition and an awards ceremony was evaluated as a venue that directly reflected market trends.
JamJam Therapeutics' Good Game Award win demonstrates the potential of functional games to simultaneously secure social value and commercial viability. Future challenges in this field include accumulating clinical data, entering the global market, and developing integrated content.
'JamJam400' is being used as actual educational content in educational and rehabilitation institutions such as Daegu Special School and the Korea Association for the Welfare of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, and is evaluated to contribute to improving the concentration and cognitive abilities of children with developmental disabilities.
