Vieworks (CEO Husik Kim), a medical and industrial imaging solutions specialist, announced on the 19th that its independently developed hybrid TDI line scan camera 'VT Series' was officially selected as a 'World-Class Product' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The 'World-Class Product' is a system certified by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to foster products that represent the domestic export industry. It is awarded to products that rank within the top 5 and have a market share of 5% or more in the global market worth over 50 million dollars.
The VT series is an industrial camera used in flat panel display and semiconductor inspection equipment, detecting defects in test objects. Featuring a resolution of up to 23K and high-speed imaging performance of 550,000 lines per second, it features a hybrid TDI sensor that combines the advantages of CCD and CMOS image sensors, delivering high-quality images and high signal transmission speeds.
TDI (Time Delay Integration) technology is a key technology for implementing ultra-high-speed, high-resolution imaging.
A Vieworks representative said, “The selection of the VT series as a world-class product is a result of recognition of our technological prowess and reliability in the global market,” and added, “We will lead innovation in the global machine vision market centered on ultra-high-speed, high-resolution imaging technology.”
