Brils signs an industry-academia partnership with Seongnam Techno Science High School.

Robotics company Brils (CEO Jin Jeon) announced on the 19th that it will collaborate with Seongnam Techno Science High School to foster field-specific talent to lead the future robotics industry.

On the 18th, Brils signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for industry-academia cooperation with Seongnam Techno Science High School at its headquarters in Songdo, Incheon. The signing ceremony was attended by Brils CEO Jeon Jin, Seongnam Techno Science High School Principal Min Ji-hyun, and representatives from both organizations. After the signing, students and teachers attended lectures on the robotics industry and toured the Brils Robotics exhibition hall, where they explored collaborative robots, industrial robots, hybrid autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and industrial process solutions.

This agreement aims to cultivate the highly skilled workforce needed for industrial development and to respond to the knowledge-based and information-based society. The two organizations agreed to collaborate in a variety of areas, including: providing on-site training and practical training for industrial companies; sharing industrial technology information; vocational training and technical cooperation; joint development of curriculum and textbooks; and joint use of research facilities and equipment.

In addition to this agreement, Brils is strengthening its efforts to cultivate talent in the robotics field by establishing a cooperative network with major domestic specialized high schools, including Segyeong High School, Samil Technical High School, Hanbom High School, Seoul Artificial Intelligence High School, and Jaeneung High School.

Jeonjin Brils CEO said, “The growth of the robotics industry ultimately depends on people,” and added, “Through collaboration with educational institutions, we will continue to cultivate practical talent that companies need and contribute to job creation.”
