Dermarium (CEO Jin Young-ri), a homecare beauty device developer, recently announced that it has secured seed funding from the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation. Industry insiders are evaluating the investment, secured just two months after its founding, as a testament to the company's technological prowess and execution capabilities.
Founded in August 2025, Dermarium is a beauty tech company. As its name suggests, a portmanteau of "derma" and "atrium," it reinterprets hospital-grade skin recovery principles into a smart homecare solution. The company's core competitive edge lies in its precision control system, which integrates RF (radiofrequency), LED (light energy), and EMS (microcurrent) technologies.
Dermarium has applied for two key patents and is preparing to register three more. Immediately following its launch, the company was selected for a series of major government support programs, including the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy, the Pre-Entrepreneurship Package, and the Seoul National University Campus Town.
“This investment goes beyond funding and is a recognition of Dermarium’s vision and potential for global expansion,” said Jinyoung Lee, CEO of Dermarium. “By combining precision control technology and data-driven feedback, we will create a ‘K-Premium Home Care’ standard that will be recognized in the global market.”
