AI-based fulfillment company Wikip announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yeongjong International Logistics School to foster future logistics talent. This agreement aims to identify practical talent required in the logistics industry at an early stage and establish a systematic talent development model that connects education, field training, and university advancement.
Under the agreement, WiKip will operate an annual, grade-based field training program for students enrolled at Yeongjong International Logistics School. Students will spend approximately two months in a WiKip logistics center, experiencing various logistics processes in a real-world operating environment. The training will incorporate cutting-edge logistics technologies, such as AI-based predictive shipping systems, location-based FBW (Wikip Fulfillment Bus System), and cold chain management, ensuring a hands-on, hands-on learning experience.
WiKip is a smart logistics innovation company that holds AI+ certification and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's new logistics technology certification. Through this agreement, WiKip plans to support students to experience the latest AI logistics system firsthand and learn about the trends and technologies of the next-generation logistics industry.
This agreement is an extension of the "Work-Study Program MOU" signed between Wikip and Jaeneung University last year. Wikip plans to establish a connected talent development system that provides practical experience starting in high school and leads to university advancement and advanced education after graduation.
Wikip CEO Jang Bo-young said, “Logistics can only grow into a sustainable industry when technology and human resources develop together,” and added, “Through this agreement, we will actively support young people to gain firsthand experience in the logistics field and grow into professional logistics personnel.”
