Green Plus wins contract for youth-focused smart farm rental project in Yesan County, South Chungcheong Province.

Green Plus , a smart farm specialist, has won a contract for the Youth-Customized Rental Smart Farm Development Project in Yesan-gun, South Chungcheong Province (total project cost: KRW 5.8 billion) commissioned by the Korea Rural Community Corporation.

This project aims to address the decline in the productive population due to rural population decline and aging, encourage young people to enter the agricultural sector, and strengthen regional agricultural competitiveness. The project site is located in Sinyang-ri, Sinyang-myeon, Yesan County, South Chungcheong Province.

With this latest order, Green Plus' domestic smart farm order backlog has surpassed 70 billion won, its largest ever. The construction period is approximately one year, and the corresponding volume is expected to be reflected in sales sequentially from the third quarter of this year through next year.

As the government fosters smart agriculture as a next-generation strategic industry and expands nationwide its rental smart farm business centered on young farmers, Green Plus is considered a key beneficiary of related policies.

A Green Plus official said, “Currently, all projects are progressing as planned, and the smart farm division’s operating rate is over 95%,” adding, “We expect to achieve our best performance ever this year.”
