
Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) announced its AI-AX (AI Transformation) leap forward strategy at the National Assembly AI Policy Forum held in Seminar Room 3 of the National Assembly Members' Hall on the 3rd. The forum commemorated the first anniversary of the AI Human Society.
The forum, titled "US-China AI Hegemony Competition and Domestic AI-AX Leap Forward Strategy: Focusing on Physical AI," was co-hosted by Representatives Chung Dong-young and Cho Seung-rae of the Democratic Party of Korea and Representative Choi Hyung-doo of the People Power Party. It was co-hosted by the AI Human Society, Seoul National University AI Research Institute, the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), Yonhap News TV, and Digital Times, and was attended by AI experts, National Assembly, and government officials.
FortyTwoMaru CEO Kim Dong-hwan, who serves as the Chairman and Co-Chairman of the AI Human Society, delivered a welcoming speech and then presented the keynote address, explaining the AX strategies of domestic companies and ways to secure competitiveness amidst the global AI trend centered on physical AI.
The forum also featured presentations by Park Tae-woong, Chairman of Hanbit Media and Green Book Forum, and Lee Jae-wook, Director of Seoul National University's AI Research Center. A comprehensive discussion followed, with participants from relevant organizations and industry, including Park Tae-wan, Director General of the Ministry of Science and ICT; Jang Kyung-mi, Vice President of the National Institute of Aviation; Lee Young-tak, Vice President of SK Telecom; and Koo Tae-eon, Attorney at Law at Lin Law Firm.
The AI Human Society is a non-profit organization bringing together experts from industry, academia, and research to explore a future where AI and humans coexist harmoniously. Its members include AI executives, startup founders, professors, researchers, and journalists. Through "field forums" that tour AI sites, the Society shares the latest trends in AI technology and AX applications and discusses ways to revitalize the AI innovation ecosystem.
CEO Kim Dong-hwan said, “As AI technology expands beyond software to physical AI, domestic companies must secure global competitiveness through practical AX strategies,” and added, “Through this forum, we will present policy and technological directions and develop them into executable strategies, thereby contributing to strengthening national competitiveness.”
