Taesung signs etching equipment supply agreement with Chinese semiconductor substrate manufacturer.

Taesung (CEO Jonghak Kim), a specialized wet equipment company for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and semiconductor substrates, announced on the 28th that it had signed an etching equipment supply contract with a Chinese semiconductor substrate manufacturer.

Through this contract, Taesung will supply equipment worth a total of 5.8 billion won to a Chinese customer's affiliate factory. The single contract was announced to be worth 5.1 billion won, with an additional 700 million won for supply to affiliates.

Taesung explained that this order was secured based on strategic collaboration with a key customer and technological reliability. The equipment supplied incorporates Taesung's precision etching technology, making it suitable for use in both high-precision semiconductor substrate and glass substrate manufacturing processes.

A Taesung official said, “This contract is the result of our differentiated etching technology and stable quality being recognized in overseas markets amidst the increasing demand for high-density, high-spec substrates.” He added, “Additional orders are expected in 2026 as investment in China expands, and tangible results will be confirmed through equipment shipments and installation starting in the fourth quarter of this year.”
