Your Case Selected as a "Tips" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups

Yourcase Co., Ltd. (CEO Eunhee Jeon), which operates Hanamichi, a communication-based lifestyle platform targeting the Japanese market and expanding customer contact points based on specialized communication services for foreigners and offline stores, has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' technology startup support program TIPS.

The TIPS program is a private sector initiative that identifies startups with excellent technologies and collaborates with the government to foster them. Private investors make an initial investment, followed by research and development (R&D) funding from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Selected companies can receive up to 500 million won in R&D funding and 200 million won in startup commercialization and marketing funding over two years.

Yourcase was selected upon the recommendation of CNT Tech, a startup investment accelerator and TIPS operator, and will receive up to 700 million won in research and development, commercialization, and marketing funding over the next two years.

As of 2024, approximately 16.4 million foreign visitors will visit Korea, of which approximately 3.22 million are Japanese, a 280% increase over the past five years. Approximately 70% of these Japanese visitors are young women, and they are experiencing stay-at-home consumption linked to various lifestyles, including communications, accommodations, beauty, and K-pop.

Accordingly, YourCase is developing a personalized communication service by introducing a customer-tailored consulting AI chatbot that reflects foreign communication policies that vary depending on length of stay, nationality, and visa type.

“We will use AI technology to reduce complex procedures and language barriers, providing an environment where foreigners can live conveniently in Korea,” said Jeon Eun-hee, CEO of Yourcase.
