Aegic Land's Managing Director, Kim Jun-ho, received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy's Award at the 18th Semiconductor Day.

ASIC Land (CEO Jongmin Lee) , a company specializing in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design solutions, announced on the 23rd that Executive Director Junho Kim (Head of Sales Division) received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy at the '18th Semiconductor Day' ceremony.

This award was given in recognition of contributions to the growth of the domestic system semiconductor industry and the expansion of its ecosystem. This marks the second consecutive year that Aegic Land has produced a recipient, following the award given to Executive Director Chang-eun Jang last year.

'Semiconductor Day' has been held annually since 2008 to commemorate the achievements of the semiconductor industry, a key national industry, and to encourage the hard work of its workers. At this event, key figures from the government and industry attended and shared their vision for the future of the semiconductor industry.

Managing Director Kim Jun-ho has over 20 years of practical experience in the semiconductor industry and has contributed to the development of the fabless industry by attracting and managing numerous domestic and international projects. Notably, he is recognized for his key achievements, including securing Korea's first 5G mmWave chip development project and successfully establishing a proprietary test environment for commercial mass production.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Kim, Aegic Land has contributed to the expansion of the industrial ecosystem by collaborating with fabless customers, the Semiconductor Industry Association, and related organizations. He also played a key role in achieving $10 million in overseas exports and growing annual sales from KRW 5 billion to KRW 95 billion.

Executive Director Kim Jun-ho stated, “This award is the result of the combined efforts of all executives and employees,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to the development of the domestic semiconductor industry through field-oriented support.”
