Series Ventures (CEO Park Jun-sang and Kwak Seong-wook) announced on the 21st that it has completed seed investment in Containus Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Seong-jin), a startup developing a digital transformation platform for port logistics and land transportation.
Containus plans to use this investment to enhance the functionality of its SaaS-based container land transport management service, Containus TMS (Transport Management System). Specifically, it plans to strengthen AI-based dispatch recommendations and automatic dispatching features, and introduce new services for brokering, sharing, and matching container transport information.
Containus TMS is a platform that organically links nationwide port data and leverages AI-based patented technology to enhance work efficiency. Previously, dispatching, settlement, customs, and port reporting were handled in separate systems. However, Containus TMS integrates all processes with a single transport order registration. This lowers the barrier to entry for users and allows them to experience a streamlined digital transformation environment.
The platform provides integrated services to companies that operate both transportation and yard operations or are preparing to expand, and is expected to be an effective solution for small and medium-sized businesses as well as mid-sized companies.
