Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) announced that it will participate in the 'UKF KOOM Startup Festival 2025' held at Duggal Greenhouse in New York, USA from October 16th to 18th to expand its partnerships in the North American market.
This event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) as part of the "2025 Americas ICT Business Partnership," is hosted by the United Korean Foundation (UKF). A festival-style business platform focused on networking between startups and global investors, the event will feature approximately 50 innovative companies, spanning fields from K-Beauty to deep tech.
At this event, Forti2Maru will highlight its flagship B2B2C generative AI solution, "SiteBunny." SiteBunny is an AI-powered SaaS solution that builds interactive relationships with customers, partners, and investors through corporate websites, enhancing business efficiency and customer satisfaction through enhanced response quality.
In particular, FortiTumaru emphasized that it is mitigating the "hallucination" problem, a limitation of ultra-large language models, through its proprietary technology stack, including augmented search generation (RAG42), artificial intelligence reading technology (MRC42), and lightweight specialized language models (LLM42). This suggests commercial viability based on high reliability and security.
During the event, FortiTumaru plans to showcase its technology and business model to global venture capitalists (VCs), potential clients, and partners, and explore strategic collaboration opportunities with local companies.
Prior to the event, Forty2Maru will also participate in the "Soft-Landing in the US: Navigating Opportunities in NY/NJ" seminar, held at Penn Plaza in New York City on October 15th. Co-hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA) and NIPA, the seminar will share information on startup support programs and ecosystems in the New York/New Jersey region. Forty2Maru will present SiteBunny's North American expansion strategy and future direction for collaboration.
FortiTumaru supports a private mode exclusively for enterprises based on generative AI technology, providing a solution that simultaneously implements internal data protection and operational cost reduction.
CEO Kim Dong-hwan said, “The AI market is rapidly transitioning from a technology-centered competition to one based on reliability and commercialization,” and added, “Through this New York event, we will strengthen our partnerships with local U.S. companies and fully advance into the global market, centered around SiteBunny.”
