Sejong Center concludes '2025 Chungcheong Region Local Festival'

The Sejong Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as the Sejong Center) announced that it held the '2025 Chungcheong Region Local Festa' at the Cultural Startup Regeneration Hub (Gwanagol area) in Chungju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do on September 16.

This event was hosted by the Sejong Center as the Chungcheong region's leading organization as part of the local creator development project promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SMB). It was designed as a place for local entrepreneurs and related organizations to come together to share their achievements and explore ways to cooperate.

The festival featured a variety of programs, including: ▲ an insight tour exploring the Chungju Gwanagol commercial district; ▲ a session sharing the achievements of local brand creation; ▲ a symbolic Local Awards ceremony honoring approximately 30 representative local businesses in the Chungcheong region; ▲ an investment consultation session featuring professional investors and startups; and ▲ a local networking event bringing together institutions and businesses. Through these programs, local entrepreneurs in the Chungcheong region were able to move beyond mere exhibitions and discover practical opportunities for exchange and growth.

The event venue featured product exhibition and experience zones, collaboration zones, and photo zones, allowing visitors to experience the value of local brands firsthand. Cultural performances and citizen participation programs were also provided, adding to the local festival atmosphere.

Sejong Center CEO Oh Deuk-chang emphasized, “Chungcheong local businesses are not just regional businesses, but an important axis for national balanced development and new growth engines,” and “Sejong Center will continue to provide policy and practical support in close cooperation with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small and Medium Business Administration so that Chungcheong local brands can spread nationwide and compete confidently on the global stage.”

The Sejong Center plans to continue expanding its multifaceted support system, including startup support, investment linkages, and cultural content discovery, to help local businesses in the Chungcheong region grow beyond the region into national brands.
