Sandol Conducts Social Contribution Activities for High School Students

Creator content platform company Sandoll (CEO Youngho Yoon) announced on the 10th that it held an office tour program called 'Sandoll Inspire Tour' for students of the New Media Design Department of Mirim Meister High School, Korea's first IT high school, to commemorate Hangeul Day on the 2nd.

The Sandoll Inspire Tour is Sandoll's office tour program. It is an educational social contribution activity that goes beyond a simple corporate tour and allows you to experience Sandoll's unique font expertise and history firsthand.

Students toured the exhibition space at Sandoll headquarters, learned about the history of printing since the era of metal type and the current environment in which fonts are developed, and had a natural conversation with Sandoll designers while participating in a 'font guessing quiz.'

Additionally, in the 'Font Impression' discussion session, I experienced firsthand the emotions that change depending on the shape and mood of the font, and practically experienced the concerns that font designers face during their actual work process.

Minji Lee, a second-year student in the New Media Design Department at Mirim Meister High School who participated in the office tour, said, “I used to think of fonts as just ‘pretty,’ but through this experience, I felt that the same sentence can have a completely different feel depending on the font,” adding, “I think I will be able to understand the power of fonts more deeply when I do design work in the future.”

A Sandoll official said, “Sandoll is continuing differentiated social contribution activities that provide creators and students with practical experience and expertise,” and added, “We will continue to run the Sandoll Inspire Tour and lead the development of the next generation of creators and the creative ecosystem through social contribution based on expertise.”
