Senstone Named "Comprehensive IoT Security Solution of the Year"

SenseTone (CEO Changhoon Yoo), a company specializing in authentication security, announced on the 10th that its global brand swIDch (headquartered in London, UK) was selected as the 'Overall IoT Security Solution of the Year' at the 'CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards 2025'.

The Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards, an international awards ceremony that evaluates global security technologies, celebrates its 11th anniversary this year. The awards recognize innovative security solutions across a wide range of fields, including cloud, encryption, authentication, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This year, over 5,000 nominations were received from around the world.

swIDch has previously won awards including 'Authentication Solution of the Year' in 2020, 'Fraud Prevention Solution Company' in 2021, and 'Transaction Security Solution' in 2022, and this marks its fourth win.

In this evaluation, the preemptive authentication feature of Senstone's IoT security solution, based on its proprietary OTAC (One-Time Authentication Code) technology, was highlighted as a key technology. OTAC enables user and device authentication without network dependency through dynamically generated authentication codes, even in one-way communication environments. This technology addresses the security vulnerabilities of fixed-value authentication.

In particular, the technology is said to have been highly evaluated for its scope of application and technological innovation as it can be expanded beyond the IoT environment to the industrial OT (Operational Technology) field.

Meanwhile, Senstone was selected as a 'Promising PLC Security Company' at the 'Global Infosec Awards' held in San Francisco, USA earlier this year, and is expanding its technology application cases in various industrial fields, such as recently carrying out a water facility OT security project in cooperation with the Korea Water Resources Corporation.
