NexoneSoft Provides Personal Information Filtering Solution to Korea Asset Management Corporation

NexoneSoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Deok-hoon) , a data platform service company, announced on the 24th that it supplied its personal information de-identification solution, ‘Innover De-ID,’ to the Korea Asset Management Corporation’s next-generation information technology project.

InnoBirdieID is an AI-based personal information de-identification solution that detects and de-identifies personal information within structured and unstructured data. It systematizes the pseudonymization process in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Commission's guidelines and supports an integrated de-identification environment, including reporting and operational systems within the organization.

This project is a measure to address the growing demand for sensitive information protection due to the digital transformation. NexoneSoft was selected as the final bidder after receiving excellent evaluations in personal information detection accuracy, management functions, and internal security features during the proof-of-concept (PoC) process. Among the 14 evaluation criteria, NexoneSoft reportedly received high scores for its application of risk-based detection criteria for each personal information type, as well as its backup and audit log capabilities.

Korea Asset Management Corporation plans to implement this solution in key internal and external systems, including the OnBid system overhaul and the groupware and electronic document system rebuild. This will introduce features that proactively detect and automatically restrict uploads of personal information that may be included in processes such as posting notices and submitting documents. Furthermore, the company plans to automatically identify personal information within electronic approval documents and attachments, minimizing the risk of internal information leaks.

This measure was implemented as part of efforts to expand public institutions' use of data, strengthen personal information protection, and enhance compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
