CODIT (CEO Ji-eun Jeong), an AI-based law, regulation, and policy data platform company, announced that it participated in 'TechLaw Fest 2025', an Asian legal tech exhibition held in Singapore from September 10th to 11th, and released the beta version of 'Chat CODIT', a generative AI-based question-and-answer type regulation and policy monitoring service.
TechroFest, co-hosted by the Singapore Ministry of Law and the Law Academy, is the largest legal tech event in the Asia-Pacific region. This year marks its 10th anniversary. Themed "Reimagining Legal in the Digital Age," the event attracted approximately 2,000 participants from businesses, government agencies, and academia from over 40 countries.
"ChatCodyt," showcased by Codit at this expo, combines its proprietary, large-scale regulatory and policy data with patented Large Language Model (LLM)-based analytics technology. This solution provides personalized responses based on preset user background information and covers global data sources, including those in Korea, the US, and Japan. Furthermore, its support for Korean-English translation has garnered significant attention from international participants, and its official launch is scheduled for September.
Codit also garnered attention during the event's presentation session, sharing innovative cases of AI-powered regulatory response to regulatory and policy officials. Codit CEO Jeong Ji-eun stated, "Through our participation in Techrofest 2025, Codit has demonstrated the innovative potential and competitiveness of policy-specific AI beyond Korea and into the global market." She added, "In line with the government's goal of 'making Korea one of the top three AI powerhouses,' we will establish ourselves in the global market as Korea's leading regulatory and policy-specific AI solution."
