Daejeon Innovation Center Holds Final Audition for 6th Social Impact Changers

The Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as the Daejeon Innovation Center) held a 'Final Audition' for participating companies of the '2025 Social Impact Changers 6th Batch' at the Daejeon Startup Hub.

Social Impact Changers is a Daejeon-style technology-based social venture fostering program hosted by Daejeon Metropolitan City and organized by the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center.

This audition was designed to verify the performance of the 14 social ventures that participated in the program over the past six months and to explore the possibility of follow-up investment and business expansion.

Through the program, participating companies have achieved results such as enhancing their business models, internalizing social value creation strategies, and systematizing impact measurement indicators.

This final audition was a place to gauge the innovation and sustainability of social ventures by comprehensively evaluating ▲business capabilities ▲social impact ▲business growth potential ▲program participation, etc.

The audition showcased technologies and business models that address social issues across a wide range of fields, including eco-friendly materials, climate tech, bio-health, smart cities, and impact AI. Numerous examples were presented of companies incorporating improvement initiatives identified during the corporate diagnosis and mentoring process into actual business plans, demonstrating the program's tangible growth potential.

Daejeon Innovation Center CEO Park Dae-hee said, “Through this program, technology-based social ventures have created an opportunity to realize social impact and reflect social value throughout their businesses,” and added, “We will continue to serve as a strong partner to help social ventures in the Daejeon region grow in the global impact ecosystem.”
