AI semiconductor company DeepX (CEO Kim Nok-won) announced on the 5th that it had jointly introduced an AI PC solution with global IT company HP at the '2025 Industrial AI Expo' held at COEX in Magok.
DeepX conducted a live demo of its mass-produced AI semiconductor products, the DX-M1 and DX-H1, mounted on HP's Z2 Mini Workstation and Z8 Tower Workstation. Through this demonstration, visitors were able to directly experience the system's performance in processing difficult AI tasks in real time, such as multi-channel risk recognition and vision-language modeling (VLM).
This demonstration simultaneously demonstrated the power efficiency and high-precision AI processing performance of DeepX products, highlighting their potential for application in diverse fields such as industrial automation, safety monitoring, and data analysis. It particularly garnered attention for its ability to achieve similar accuracy while reducing energy consumption and operating costs compared to existing GPU-based systems.
Our collaboration partner, HP, is a major player in the global workstation market. According to IDC, it holds approximately 50% of the domestic market share, maintaining its top spot for 16 consecutive quarters. Through this collaboration, DeepX plans to expand into industrial and public sectors, including robotics, smart factories, and security and control systems.
A DeepX representative stated, “AI is a technology that can substantially improve efficiency and safety in industrial settings,” and added, “This collaboration with HP will be the starting point for the expansion of industrial AI solutions and the implementation of a future smart society.”
