The Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Hae-Jeong Lee, hereinafter referred to as the Gangwon Innovation Center) announced that it will hold the 'On-Device AI Healthcare Summit 2025' on the 18th in the seminar room on the 2nd floor of the Wonju Medical Device Comprehensive Support Center.
This event, part of the second phase of the Regional Innovation Cluster (non-R&D) project supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, is co-hosted with the Yonsei University Future Campus Medical AI Semiconductor Professional Training Center. The seminar will explore the latest trends in digital healthcare and on-device AI and, in conjunction with the Gangwon Medical Equipment Exhibition (GMES 2025), present a vision for the future healthcare industry.
Key presenters include AWS Director Cho Min-seong on 'Digital Healthcare and Cloud Computing Technology (focusing on AWS Healthcare services),' Vice President Cho Seong-pil of Meju Co., Ltd. on 'Cloud-based Real-time Remote Monitoring Service Case,' Mobilint CEO Shin Dong-joo on 'Digital Healthcare and AI Semiconductors (focusing on Domestic AI Semiconductor Technology),' and Professor Erdenbayar of Yonsei University on 'On-Device AI Technology and Prospects for the Digital Healthcare Industry.'
In the following panel discussion, moderator Kijae Hong, a professor at the Wonju Industry-Academia Collaboration Foundation at Yonsei University, will discuss the topic, "The Present and Future Prospects of On-Device AI-Based Healthcare." Participants will also have the opportunity to address their questions through pre-registered questions and an on-site Q&A session.
An official from the Gangwon Innovation Center said, “This seminar will provide an opportunity for bio and healthcare startups in the province to understand industry trends and grow,” and added, “We will support Gangwon’s digital healthcare industry to expand beyond the region and into a broader market.”
