Smile Information Technology Participates in the 21st Gangwon Medical Device Exhibition

Miso Information Technology (CEO Nam Sang-do), a multimodal data platform specialist, announced on the 2nd that it will participate in the 21st Gangwon Medical Equipment Exhibition (GMES 2025) held in Wonju, Gangwon-do from September 18th to 19th.

Hosted by Gangwon Province and Wonju City, and co-organized by the Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley Foundation and KOTRA Gangwon Support Center, GMES is a specialized medical device exhibition. This year marks its 21st anniversary. The exhibition showcases the latest technological trends in the medical device industry and features a variety of programs, including export consultations and seminars for domestic and international buyers.

At this exhibition, Miso Information Technology will unveil its health data distribution platform for the first time. Key highlights include: a health data integration and distribution platform (Health Data Hub); a generative AI-based demand-supply matching curation system; and a health data transaction and global expansion model. The platform aims to enhance data utilization across diverse fields, including medical AI development, clinical research, new drug development, and biohealthcare services.

The company is currently working with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, the Korea Medical Device Certification Agency, and the Korea Medical Device Cooperative to establish a system to support the development and validation of health data-based services. The platform will be showcased at the Digital Healthcare booth (C137) on the first floor of the GMES 2025 exhibition hall. Inquiries regarding the platform are currently pouring in from countries such as Italy, Japan, and the Philippines.

Wonju is a designated medical device industry cluster, a hub with a high concentration of related manufacturing and research infrastructure. Through its Gwacheon headquarters and Gangwon branch, Miso Information Technology is fostering a medical device industry ecosystem in the Gangwon region and expanding collaboration with companies within the Gangwon AI Healthcare Global Innovation Zone.
