Cloud specialist Gabia (Co-CEOs Hong-guk Kim and Jong-hong Won) announced on the 28th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with IT service specialist Beomil Information (CEO Seung-soo Kook) for business and technological cooperation based on artificial intelligence (AI) platforms. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to combine Gabia's AI platform technology with Beomil Information's public sector business capabilities to jointly target the AI-based public cloud market.
This agreement aims to respond to the growing demand for AI technology in the public sector, and the two companies have set the following as key areas of cooperation: ▲joint development of AI platform-based information technology projects, ▲cooperation in AI model development and operation (MLOps) technology, and ▲joint marketing and sales activities.
Gabia will stably provide infrastructure and AI platforms, including GPUs, based on an AI-specific data center completed in 2024, and will be responsible for providing technical support for Beomil Information's business operations, including technical training, MLOps, and security consulting.
Beomil Information, a system integration (SI) company based in the Daegu area that has carried out various public and private projects, plans to discover AI business opportunities in the public market through this agreement and lead joint proposals and marketing activities.
Gabia's Managing Director, Han Deok-han, stated, "We expect to create new business opportunities in both public and private markets based on our competitive AI platform technology, which is a key infrastructure for responding to the AI era."
Kook Seung-soo, CEO of Beomil Information, said, “AI technology is becoming a key element for the digital transformation of public administration,” and added, “Through collaboration with Gabia, we will jointly develop AI-based solutions suitable for public institutions and create practical implementation cases.”
