Salesforce Hosts 'Tableau Data Fest Korea 2025'

Salesforce announced that it held "Tableau Data Fest Korea 2025," its annual event for its data analytics platform, Tableau, at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul, on August 27th. Themed "The Most Appropriate Data Analytics in the AI Era," the event brought together over 1,000 data analytics experts, industry insiders, and partners to share diverse business case studies and technical insights.

Tableau Data Fest, held annually in major global locations, brings together Tableau users and the community to discuss ways to foster data-driven decision-making and a culture of analytics. Held in Korea for the third time, this year's event showcased Salesforce's strategy for integrating Tableau's next-generation innovation, "Tableau Next," with its AI agent platform, "Agentforce," setting the direction for AI-driven data analysis.

In his keynote speech, Park Se-jin, CEO of Salesforce Korea, emphasized that the combination of data and AI is becoming a key element of corporate competitiveness, while Kim Young-gyun, head of business at Tableau Korea, said, “In the AI era, utilizing data is no longer an option but a necessity,” and “Tableau will become a central tool for data-driven innovation in companies.”

At the event, major domestic companies such as Hyundai Glovis, Samsung C&T Construction Group, Hyundai Mobis, Cheil Worldwide, Eco Marketing, and Com2uS participated as presenters and introduced real-world analysis cases utilizing Tableau. Hyundai Glovis utilized its own data analysis portal, "VODA," to integrate logistics data management and increase the speed and accuracy of global decision-making. Samsung C&T Construction Group shared a case study in which it visualized data collected through Tableau across construction projects to improve management efficiency. Hyundai Mobis established a self-service BI system to establish a company-wide data-driven decision-making culture, and Cheil Worldwide presented a case study in which it improved campaign performance through real-time marketing data analysis. Eco Marketing presented a case study in which its dashboard-based real-time performance management is used more than 2,000 times daily. Com2uS presented a data visualization strategy and next-generation analysis system that combines AI capabilities.

Meanwhile, the event drew attention with a community session hosted by the Seoul Tableau User Group and the "Viz Games," where participants could showcase their analytical skills. Furthermore, exhibits showcasing dashboard use cases across various industries captured the attention of attendees.

Through this event, Salesforce reiterated the importance of an analytics environment that combines AI and data technologies, and announced plans to expand partnerships to strengthen domestic companies' data-driven decision-making capabilities.
