Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) and digital outdoor advertising media service company M&M Networks (CEO Seong-won Kim) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to diversify content distribution channels and expand global presence, and will begin full-scale collaborative projects utilizing digital public media.
The two organizations signed an agreement on August 8th and plan to focus their cooperation on supporting the commercialization and enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized content companies in Gyeonggi Province by fostering a content distribution ecosystem.
Gyeongconjin has been promoting the local content industry by discovering, producing, and validating local content intellectual property (IP). Through this agreement, the content supported by Gyeongconjin will be broadcast through M&M Networks' digital public media platform. Consumer response data will be used to analyze effectiveness and develop marketing strategies.
M&M Networks, a company implementing the "XaaS Pilot Project" hosted by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) under the Ministry of Science and ICT, is building and operating an AI-based digital outdoor advertising platform that includes a Content Management System (CMS), a Remote Management System (RMS), and an advertising transaction platform. Currently providing services to major domestic media companies, M&M Networks plans to gradually pursue advertising effectiveness analysis, performance reporting, and overseas expansion projects leveraging its global digital media network.
Through this collaboration, the two organizations plan to jointly develop a multi-layered business structure, including ▲establishing a content transmission model encompassing both public and commercial aspects, ▲expanding a data-based verification system, ▲jointly developing content with local governments and public institutions, and ▲laying the foundation for entering the global market.
A representative of KCCI stated, “By expanding digital public media into a new content distribution channel, we will contribute to enhancing the brand value of local content companies and expanding their market base, and further establish a foundation for securing global competitiveness.”
Kim Seong-won, CEO of M&M Networks, said, “The AI-based digital outdoor advertising platform has enabled effective distribution of public content and data-driven marketing. Through this collaboration, we will build a new urban media ecosystem that combines public interest and technology-based advertising.”
